The Lord Masham Trophy

The Lord Masham Trophy. Hallmarked Silver Trophy won outright by the Black Dyke Band in 1913 on this being the third time they won the Trophy. The turned wooden base for the trophy has winners shields dating from 1905, Lindley, 1906 Goodshaw, 1907 Black Dike,1908 Black Dike, 1909 Perfection Soap Works, 1910 Perfection Soap works, 1911 Cleckheaton Victoria, 1912 Hebdon Bridge, and 1913 Black Dike.

Wooden Base, 110 mm x 250 mm diameter. Cup 520 mm tall x 225 mm dia cup, 340 mm wide at handles.
Materials: 
Base, turn dark wooden base with green beize underside onto which are mounted nine hallmarked silver shields and one silver and enamel coat of arms. Cup with lid in solid hallmarked silver.
